On  January 16th 2015  my school went to an assembly  about wheelchair basketball and there were 4 players. There names were Dan but his nickname was Sparkles, Darren, Vince, and Shawn. They were really good at basketball even though they were in wheelchair. I wrote to them after the assembly and drew a picture for them about the wheelchair assembly. My teacher got to play and she made a shot! Mr. Klembarsky and another teacher got to play too. My class was talking about themes last week and some themes we saw were perseverance, courage, kindness, friendship, and acceptance. The assembly made me feel happy because even though they were on wheelchairs they could play a lot better basketball then I could and I can walk. Also because they were still happy and joyful even though they didn’t have the use of there legs. I really enjoyed the Wheelchair Basketball Assembly. Please comment back:)
